  • 1.2. It is a condition of membership that Customer accepts these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are acknowledged as legal and binding by Customer, once he/she becomes a member.
  • 1.3. Customer agrees that gamebookers UK may amend these Terms and Conditions. Any such revision or change will be binding on Customer and effective immediately on posting of the revised Terms and Conditions on this website or, at the discretion of gamebookers UK, on notification to Customer by email. Customer agrees that he/she shall be solely responsible for checking for revisions and changes on each occasion he/she uses the betting service. Customer agrees that any use of the betting service at any time following such posting or notification shall constitute his/her agreement to such revisions or changes.
  • 1.4. All amounts stated hereunder are in Pounds Sterling. If Customer keeps his/her account in any other currency the correspondent equivalent shall be applicable.

    2. Restrictions

  • 2.1. Customer must be over 18 years of age to register and to place a bet with gamebookers UK. gamebookers UK reserves the right to ask for proof of age from any customer and accounts may be suspended until satisfactory proof of age is provided.
  • 2.2. Customer must be a resident of the United Kingdom.

    3. Member Account

  • 3.1. Customer opens an account by completing the online membership application form, which is an integral part of this website, or via telephone.
  • 3.2. Customer shall ensure that the details provided at registration (address, telephone number, email etc.) are kept up to date. Customer's account information may be amended in the 'my data' section of this website or by contacting gamebookers UK Customer Support.
  • 3.3. To verify Customer's identity, gamebookers UK reserves the right to request at any time satisfactory proof of identity (copies of a valid passport / identity card and/or any payment cards used) and proof of address (recent utility bill or bank statement). Failure to supply such documentation may result in suspension of the account.
  • 3.4. Each person is only entitled to open one (1) account. gamebookers UK reserves the right to close the account of any customer who has opened multiple accounts on his/her name. Should gamebookers UK have reasonable grounds to believe that multiple accounts have been opened with the intention to defraud the company, gamebookers UK reserves the right to cancel any transaction related to said fraud attempt.
  • 3.5. In respect to account holders having close family relationships, gamebookers UK reserves the right to limit all accounts to one (1).
  • 3.6. There are no set-up charges and no monthly fees for maintaining Customer's account. Interest is not paid on any funds held in Customer's account.
  • 3.7. Customer can request withdrawals from his/her account at any time provided all payments made have been received. gamebookers UK reserves the right to pay any requested withdrawal partly or in total via the same method of payment with which deposits were made. When using credit/debit card or NETeller to make a deposit, gamebookers UK may not accept any withdrawal request within 14 days after the deposit.
  • 3.8. Either party is entitled to close the account at any time. In the event of termination by gamebookers UK, it shall give notice of the termination to Customer via electronic mail and, as soon as reasonably practicable, refund the balance of Customer's account. In the event of termination by Customer, he/she shall first withdraw the entire balance from his/her account and then give notice of the termination to gamebookers UK via electronic mail, fax or letter. Termination will not affect any outstanding bets.
  • 3.9. Some customers may be eligible to participate in bonus programs. Said bonus programs, as to their conditions, amount and issuance, shall be subject to the discretion of gamebookers UK, and shall be non-transferable. Any bonus offered by gamebookers UK is limited to one (1) per household. Irrespectively of all special conditions of offer that may apply, gamebookers UK reserves the right to deduct the bonus amount again from Customer's account if a withdrawal was requested before the amount of the underlying deposit transaction has been wagered once and/or has been used to bet on different outcomes of the same event.

    4. Login

  • 4.1. The username and passwords should not be disclosed to any third party. Customer is solely responsible for the security of his/her user name and password.
  • 4.2. Every person who identifies him/herself by entering the correct username and password is assumed by gamebookers UK to be the rightful account holder/Customer and all transactions where the username and password have been entered correctly will be regarded as valid. In no event will gamebookers UK be liable for any loss Customer suffers as a result of any unauthorised use or misuse of his/her login details.

    5. Betting Terms

  • 5.1. Betting selections are indicated on the online betting slip next to respective odds. gamebookers UK reserves the right to use symbols (such as 1,X,2) and abbreviations for the indication of betting outcomes. gamebookers UK will at any time maintain a help section on this website informing about the betting types and terms used. The onus is, however, on Customer to familiarise him/herself with the exact details of any bet before placing it.
  • 5.2. Any additional information detailed at the top or bottom of events and odds displays forms part of the betting rules for the particular event and in the event of any disparity, shall supercede these Terms and Conditions.
  • 5.3. It is possible to make single and/or multiple bets. A multiple bet is defined as individual bets which combine two or more selections in a single wager: if one selection loses the whole bet is lost. In the case of an individual bet, the overall payout for a win (including the original stake) is equal to the stake multiplied by its decimal odd. In the case of a multiple bet, it is equal to the stake multiplied by the product of the various decimal odds.
  • 5.4. Unless announced otherwise, for Ice Hockey, Soccer and Handball events odds are based on the result after regular time which includes time added by match officials for stoppages, but not scheduled extra time or penalty shoot-outs etc. The same counts for Rugby events where the draw option is offered. For Basketball and American Football, odds are based on the result after regular time and any period of overtime played.
  • 5.5. The 'Joker' represents any participant not explicitly mentioned in the betting offer. In the case of 'Head-to-Head' bets, the 'Joker' means any other participant.
  • 5.6. In the event of a change of playing surface or a change from indoor court to outdoor court or vice versa all bets will stand. In the event of a change of venue all bets will stand unless the change of location implies a change of the condition whether the participant will play on opposing side's or neutral ground; in this case the event is deemed void.
  • 5.7. In the event of a participant withdrawing after the start of an event in all sports but tennis, all related stakes will be lost. In the event of a participant withdrawing after the start of a tennis match, all respective bets are deemed void. If a participant withdraws before the start of the event (including official trials) the respective bets are deemed void. Stakes on bets that forecast the winner of a golf tournament are refunded if the player does not tee off. Stakes on bets that forecast the winner of a championship, tournament or ante-post race for all other sports are lost if the player/team cannot participate or finish.
  • 5.8. The following provisions apply to suspended or postponed events:
    American Football: Bets are void unless the game is re-arranged or resumed and completed within the same 'American Football Week' (Monday - Sunday inclusive (PAC Time));
    Baseball: Bets are void unless the game is resumed and completed on the same day OR at least 5 innings of play have been completed (winners and losers for betting are then determined by the score after the last full inning);
    Basketball: Bets are void unless the game is re-arranged or resumed and completed on the same day;
    Boxing: Bets are void unless the game is re-arranged or resumed and completed within 14 days;
    Formula1: Bets are void unless the game is re-arranged or resumed and completed within 3 days;
    Handball: Bets are void unless the game is re-arranged or resumed and completed within 2 days;
    Ice Hockey: Bets are void unless the game is re-arranged or resumed and completed on the same day;
    Rugby: Bets are void unless the game is re-arranged or resumed and completed within the same 'Rugby Week' (Monday - Sunday inclusive (UK Time))
    Skiing: Bets are void unless the game is re-arranged or resumed and completed within 3 days;
    Soccer: Bets are void unless the game is resumed and completed within 2 days OR at least 80 minutes of play have been completed (winners and losers for betting are then determined by the score at the time of suspension);
    Tennis: Bets are void unless the game is re-arranged or resumed and completed within 3 days.
    Bets which are at the time of suspension already decided as winning or losing (e.g. half time, periods, half time/full time, first team to score, first set)shall be settled regardless of the time of suspension or resumption.
    5.9. Where a horse is withdrawn before coming under Starter's orders, or is officially deemed by the Starter to have taken no part in the race, stakes will be returned on the withdrawn horse and winning bets will be subject to deductions in accordance with 'Tattersalls' Rule 4'. The rate of deduction will be based on the following scale:

    6. Limit on Stakes and Winnings

  • 6.1. gamebookers UK reserves the right to limit the maximum amount wagered for each single or multiple bet.
  • 6.2. The maximum amount that may be won by Customer within any seven (7) day period is L100,000 (net win excl. stakes). This maximum shall apply independently of the number of stakes placed or pending or the amount wagered or pending, and it shall be incumbent upon Customer to ensure that he/she does not exceed the aforesaid limit.

    7. Acceptance and Validation of Bets

  • 7.1. Bets must be made online at the website or placed via telephone.
  • 7.2. A bet is deemed to be valid following confirmation of acceptance. This acceptance is demonstrated by the bet's transaction code that will appear on screen. When placing a bet by telephone the Customer Service Representative will repeat Customer's instructions to confirm the terms of the bet prior to accepting it. When a bet is placed and accepted, the corresponding amount is charged against Customer's account. Once accepted, bets cannot be cancelled or amended in any way.
  • 7.3. When placing the bet, the Customer confirms that he/she does not have any previous knowledge of the result of the respective event underlying the bet.
  • 7.4. gamebookers UK reserves the right to void any bet which may be inadvertently accepted when the Customer's account does not have sufficient funds to cover the amount of the bet placed.
  • 7.5. All bets must be made and accepted, before the start of the game/event. Any bet placed or received after the start of the game/event will be void unless the betting offer is clearly intended to be available after the start of the event (i.e. live betting, outrights, P2P bets). If, in the case of live betting, delayed TV coverage or data transmission resulted in a bet being placed at the incorrect price immediately after the selected participant/team has gained a significant advantage, gamebookers UK reserves the right to void the bet, win or lose.
  • 7.6. If an event is cancelled and deemed void, the respective selection is considered with decimal odds of one (1.00). In the event of an individual bet, the amount of the bet is refunded. In the case of multiple bets in which events cancelled appear together with other valid events with a winning forecast, the multiple bet is considered won but the combo odd is adjusted accordingly.
  • 7.7. Multiple bets are not accepted where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes to the outcome of another.
  • 7.8. gamebookers UK shall reserve the right to suspend or withdraw any game at its absolute discretion.
  • 7.9. gamebookers UK reserves the right to void any or all bets made by any person or group of persons where gamebookers UK has reasonable grounds to believe that said person or group of persons is acting in liaison in an attempt to defraud or damage gamebookers UK in any way. This can include persons, relatives, organisations, bookmakers and their employees.

    8. P2P Betting Terms

  • 8.1. The role of the P2P betting exchange service is to act as a facilitator between customers who wish to make offers to each other. These offers if matched or partially matched will become contracts between individual customers. When participating in the P2P betting exchange service, Customer agrees to appoint gamebookers UK as his/her agent: (i) for the communication of orders for bets; and (ii) for receipt of communications of acceptance of Customer's orders for bets.
  • 8.2. In administering and settling P2P betting transactions, gamebookers UK will (i) deduct outstanding betting exposures from Customer's account until confirmation of the final result; (ii) settle net winnings minus any commission payable in case the offer/bet has been won; and (iii) retain net losses plus any commission payable in case the offer/bet has been lost.
  • 8.3. gamebookers UK will under no circumstances identify Customer to other customers as the originator or taker of the offer.
  • 8.4. Customer is entirely responsible for the information that he/she provides concerning the offer. gamebookers UK will not enquire into the reasonableness of any P2P offer and will not be liable for incorrect entries made by Customer, including data input errors with respect to the odds or stake on offer.
  • 8.5. Taking bets: once Customer has accepted an offer to bet, he/she will not be allowed to change the terms of that bet or cancel or withdraw from that bet. Acceptance of an offer for a bet, once received, concludes the bet.
  • 8.6. Reserving and offering odds: once Customer has confirmed that he/she wishes to place a particular order for a P2P bet, Customer agrees to leave the offer for that bet open for acceptance by any other customer. Unmatched offers may be withdrawn at any time (unless and until they have been accepted) by cancelling the relevant offer in the history section. The cancellation of an outstanding offer becomes effective when gamebookers UK receives communication of Customer's instruction to cancel. In the event that gamebookers UK fails to receive the cancellation, Customer acknowledges that the offer may remain available for acceptance.
  • 8.7. Commission: in consideration of its service gamebookers UK reserves the right to deduct a commission of up to 4.5 per cent calculated on net winnings or net losses as the case may be from the offering party.
  • 8.8. In the case that the event of the P2P is offered by gamebookers UK and is cancelled, all offers, reserved odds and P2P bets are cancelled and stakes and deducted liabilities are refunded. In the case that the event is not offered by gamebookers UK, the offerer is solely responsible for posted odds, stakes, date and time, venue or playing surface.
  • 8.9. gamebookers UK does not guarantee that every offer displayed as outstanding will be available for acceptance. All or part of the offer of a bet displayed as available at gamebookers UK at specific odds may be successfully cancelled by one or more counter-parties before Customer's acceptance is processed.
  • 8.10. gamebookers UK, at its absolute discretion, may withdraw, void or refuse to post any P2P offer/bet.
  • 8.11. In the event of any disparity between this section and the other sections of these Terms and Conditions, this section shall supercede the remaining sections in governing the offering, placing and settlement of P2P bets. Otherwise, the remaining sections of these Terms and Conditions shall apply to P2P bets.

    9. Results and Settlement

  • 9.1. Results valid for determining the outcome of any bet are those established by the respective sports federation or other competent body governing the event. In the absence of such ruling, results shall be determined by publications of the National Press Agency of the country where the event takes place.
  • 9.2. Results are always as recognised on the field or on the speedway. Any results on paper deriving from disciplinary action, sports or ordinary legal actions, shall not be taken into account. If news leak out that call the integrity of an individual event into question (e.g. 'match fixing'), gamebookers reserves the right to freeze winnings and void bets retrospectively in the event that the information proves correct.
  • 9.3. Winnings will be credited to Customer's account following confirmation of the final result. Settlement will be at the price prevailing at the time the bet was placed and confirmed (regardless of any fluctuation that took place before/after the bet was placed).
  • 9.4. If a 'Dead-Heat' is declared on any event, the stake is proportioned accordingly.

    10. Discrepancy, Claims and Disputes

  • 10.1. For all bets, the records and log files of gamebookers UK concerning the details of the bets are decisive.
  • 10.2. Dates and times published by gamebookers UK are purely of indicative value. For the purpose of applying these Terms and Conditions, the official times issued by the competent governing body shall be applicable.
  • 10.3. No claims or disputes shall be considered more than six (6) weeks after the date of the original transaction.
  • 10.4. If any sum is erroneously credited to Customer's account, it shall be up to Customer to point out this error to gamebookers UK. Otherwise all subsequent wins directly or indirectly ensuing from this mistake shall be cancelled.
  • 10.5. For disputes, claims or to report account discrepancies, Customer shall contact gamebookers UK Customer Support (service@gamebookers.co.uk).

    11. Liability and Indemnity

  • 11.1. gamebookers UK shall in no way, and under no circumstances, be liable for any damages or losses resulting from, but not limited to: the cancellation of any game for any reason, any errors or omissions in the website content, misuse of the website content or the inability of any person to use its betting service, unauthorised use or misuse of Customer's username or password, access delays, access interruptions, data non-delivery or data mis-delivery and any act of God or force majeure or other circumstance(s) beyond its control.

  • 11.3. Customer agrees to release, indemnify, and hold gamebookers UK harmless against any claim brought against the company by a third party resulting from Customer's use of its betting services in respect of all losses, actions, proceedings, claims, damages, expenses or liabilities whatsoever suffered and howsoever incurred by gamebookers UK in consequence of Customers non observance or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  • 11.4. Nothing in this Agreement shall exclude the liability of gamebookers UK for death or personal injury arising from its negligence.

    12. Data Protection

  • 12.1. gamebookers UK may process any Personal Data (as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998) provided by Customer in connection with the operation of Customer's Account, processing payments, keeping records and verifying identity. gamebookers UK may not process any Sensitive Personal Data (as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998).
  • 12.2. gamebookers UK may share Customer's Personal Data with any of its agents who may only use it for strictly the same purposes as gamebookers UK.
  • 12.3. Unless Customer has indicated otherwise, gamebookers UK may contact Customer with product and service related information. If Customer would prefer not to receive such communications, he/she could opt out via the 'my data' section of the website or contact service@gamebookers.co.uk.
  • 12.4. Customer should assume that all website use, electronic mails and telephone calls between him/her and gamebookers UK will be recorded. These recordings will be sole property of gamebookers UK and may be used as evidence in the event of any dispute.
  • 12.5. Customer has the right, upon payment of a fee, to receive upon written request a copy of the information gamebookers UK holds about him/her.
  • 12.6. gamebookers' Privacy Policy, explaining in full how gamebookers UK uses Customer's personal information and protects his/her privacy, is available on this website.

  • 13.2. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
